Terms of service

The rules for using the chae Discord bot and chae.win services.

Effective: 31 May 2026

Agreement

These terms apply when you use the chae Discord bot, chae.win, the embed builder, avatar pages, temporary email service, APIs, and related features. By using a service, you agree to follow these terms and the rules that apply to the platform you use, including Discord's terms and community guidelines where relevant.

If you do not agree, do not use the services. Questions can be sent to support@chae.win.

Age

You must be at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age required by Discord and the law that applies where you live. If you are not old enough to agree to these terms yourself, a parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf where permitted.

Acceptable use

Use chae lawfully and in a way that does not harm other people, Discord, or our systems. You must not use the services to send spam, commit fraud, harass others, distribute malware, evade platform rules, infringe rights, obtain unauthorised access, or interfere with normal operation.

You must not scrape, probe, overload, reverse engineer, bypass rate limits, avoid access controls, automate abusive requests, or use temporary inboxes to support unlawful or deceptive activity. You are responsible for content and configuration you submit, including messages, embeds, links, and button URLs.

Temporary email

Temporary inboxes are short-lived and are not designed for confidential, sensitive, or long-term communications. Messages may expire after 24 hours. Inbox names can be discovered or guessed, so do not treat a temporary inbox as private storage.

We may block senders, domains, inboxes, IP addresses, tokens, or request patterns where reasonably needed to protect users, providers, and the service.

API access

API keys, tokens, and secrets are personal to the authorised user or integration. Keep them private and do not expose them in browser code, public repositories, or shared logs. We may apply rate limits, revoke credentials, or restrict access where needed for security, reliability, or abuse prevention.

Availability

We work to keep chae reliable, but services may be changed, interrupted, limited, or discontinued. Features can depend on third-party services such as Discord, hosting, database, storage, email, and security providers. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or permanent storage.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend, restrict, or block access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, enforce these terms, or respond to provider requirements. Where appropriate, we may report unlawful activity to relevant authorities or providers.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what information we process, why we process it, how long we keep it, and how to make a privacy request.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, chae is provided without guarantees beyond those required by applicable law. We are not responsible for losses caused by misuse, unauthorised access to a temporary inbox, third-party outages, or content submitted by users.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or removes consumer or privacy rights that cannot legally be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms when the services, provider requirements, or applicable laws change. The effective date at the top of this page will show when the latest version applies. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice.
